Introduction: OF NANOSKIM is designed for easy removal of organic waste compounds from your marine aquarium. Fine bubbles that are created by the air stone traps dissolved organic waste compounds and from a dense foam at the water surface. The constant upwards airflow forces the foam into the collection cup which can then be removed. OF NANOSKIM effectively skims the waste materials off thus preventing bacteria from decomposing these organic compounds to nitrate and phosphate. It also helps to reduce the amount of harmful free floating bacteria. Installation: 1.Attach air tube from air pump to the L Joint. 2.To prevent your air pump from back siphoning install a check valve between the air pump and skimmer. 3.Submerge OF NANOSKIM in your aquarium ensure that the water level in at least 3cm away from the collection cup. 4.Fix the skimmer in the desired position using the suction cups or mounting bracket. 5.Switch on the air pump. 6.Adjust the air flow so that foam rises steadily up the foaming tube and into the collection cup. 7.If the foam collected in the collection cup is very watery and dilute the air flow should be slightly reduced. 8.Allow for at least 3 days for the skimming effect to reach its optimal effectiveness as the air stone will slowly become saturated with water so that more air bubbles are formed. 9.Check the collection cup regularly and adjust the air flow to achieve partial dry amber to dark brown colored skimmate.
